Biography:

Maryam Rassouli is a full professor of nursing at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (SBMU) and Director General of Nursing Services at Ministry of Health & Medical Education (MoHME), Iran. She is the author/ co-author of more than 300 papers published in national & international peer review journals, most of which are in the field of palliative care policy making, models of palliative care, symptom management guidelines, and spiritual care. She is the author of eight book chapters on palliative care status in Iran.

She was awardedOncology Nursing Society International Awardin 2016. She currently is associate editor of theInternational Journal of Cancer Management including Asia Pacific Journal of Oncology Nursing, Nursing Practice Today,etc. and temporary advisor of palliative Care in EMRO WHO.
