Biography:
Zohreh Keshavarz, Physician, Specialist in Reproductive Health and Sexual Medicine fellowship, is a member of the faculty of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences with the academic degree of Associate Professor. She has been a member of the board of midwifery and reproductive health if the Ministry of Health from 2020 till 2022. She is also a member of the founding board of two research centers affiliated to Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, including (1) Midwifery and Reproductive Health Research Center (MRHRC), (2) Men’s Health research center(MHRC). She also has executive records as a trusted doctor and representative of women's affairs in the university. She is a founding member of Mardom 24-hour Clinic and Kara Preventive Medicine Clinic, and has been practicing medicine in clinics and private practices since 2001. She is the founder and CEO of Avin Lifestyle Institute. She is the editor of the midwifery section of the journal of Advances in Nursing and Midwifery since 2017. She is the editor of SalamtBarvari website and the founder of SalamatBarvari virtual education system. She is a member of the education committee of the Iranian General Physicians Association since 2016 and a national instructor of more than a hundred courses on sexual health and sexual function disorders in women and men, in person and virtually since 2016. As an expert in the field of sexual health, she has participated in the panel of experts in drafting many protocols of the Ministry of Health, including the protocol of sexual health in the Corona era and the drafting of the national screening program for sexual disorders.
She graduated in medicine from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in 2010. She entered the PhD course of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in 1385 as the first accepted in the field of reproductive health in Iran. She completed the sexual medicine fellowship course in Prague, Czech Republic, and in 2020 she successfully passed the MJCSM (Multidisciplinary Committee of Sexual Medicine) international exam and obtained the sexual medicine fellowship from the European Society of Sexual Medicine (ESSM).
Her scientific research index is 27 according to google scholar; and 11 is based on Scopus. She has numerous articles in the field of sexual function, sexual health, cancer and sexually transmitted diseases in indexed journals. She has also participated as a speaker and panelist in many domestic and foreign international congresses.
Educational background since 2010, he has been a teacher of demographics and sexually transmitted diseases courses of the doctoral level of reproductive health, the course of new phenomena in pregnancy and childbirth 1 and 2 of the master of midwifery, the course of Semiology and physiopathology 1 and 2 of the undergraduate level of midwifery. Also, she has been a teacher of reproductive health course of the bachelor's degree in health and geriatric nursing course (the sexually transmitted diseases section) of the bachelor's degree in nursing. She compiled and taught the virtual sexual health literacy course (50 hours) for employees and couples at the invitation of the university, and the course is still available.
